At 2:30pm today, the Rolex 24 Hours came to a close, crowning its winners. The all-new Wayne Taylor Racing Cadillac DPi-V.R, with Jeff Gordon as one of its drivers, took the overall win - though it was nothing short of controversial. During the final laps, the new Cadillac DPi made contact with the then-leading car, causing it to spin out and give Cadillac a lead of just over four seconds. Those four seconds was all it took to bring them to victory.
In just their second year in the series, one of the three Chip Ganassi Ford GTs took the win for the GTLM class, followed by the factory Porsche 911 RSR. In the GTD class, the Alegra Motorsports Porsche team claimed victory, followed closely by the Land Motorsport Audi R8 LMS.
