I haven't updated in a while, but that doesn't mean I haven't been shooting! Here are some of my favorites from my most recent shoot. Enjoy!

Argyle Oval

I couldn't pass up the opportunity to shoot this beautiful Beetle! If you don't think of cars as art, then you need to take a look at this one. The owner has a style all his own, combining watercooled looks with aircooled platforms and constantly wavering between the two styles. His cars stand out in any crowd. While each build has been different, they all have a similar flair that's uniquely their own.

12 Hours of Sebring: A Lesson in Humility

I find it important, in all aspects of life, to remain humble. However, there will be times when we all lose sight of this and need to be taken down a notch.

That's what Sebring did for me. This was my first year attending the 12 Hours, and my first time being at Sebring International Raceway. New tracks bring on new challenges, both for the drivers and for the photographers. It's a new layout that you have to learn in a short period of time, and you have to discover how to best use it to your advantage. For this race, I decided to try something new and rent a Canon 100-300mm lens to see if I could get some even better close-up shots than with my go-to racing lens, the 70-200mm USM II. Now, combine all of this with the torrential downpours that we faced that day, and you've got a recipe for...  well, something.

I wasn't as happy with my work as I usually am, but this has humbled me, and that's the bright side to this rainy race. It can only get better from here.
